Customer Reviews
The host was very nice, helpful, and informative. I stayed in one of two larger cabins (bunkhouses), which have a queen bed, full kitchen, and central A/C. The smaller cabins have twin beds and wall-mounted A/C units. The layout of the cabin was comfortable and spacious. The ranch was great to go hiking around on. There are plenty of interesting features to check out, including a set of bluffs to the east. The property is far from any traffic and is extremely quiet. The closest town is Kimball, NE, a 30 minute drive to the north, which has everything you need, including gas, groceries, and restaurants (including a ramen spot and an Indian spot). The roads on the ranch are great and don't have the usual ruts everywhere. The only small criticisms I would offer are: - A bit of extra cleanin
We booked a campsite through the Spring Canyon Bar Ranch website. We expected to utilize the amenities referenced on the site (restrooms, water, wifi, etc). However, our campsite was nearly 2 miles away from the main site on an off road path not meant for standard vehicles. We were told we can access the amenities but could not enter the main ranch without first alerting the host and being escorted in each time. The campsite itself was sub par. The site was located under a dead tree and riddled with cow/horse poop (both dried and fresh), loose branches, and thorny plants that you need to pass through to access the site. We ended up not staying the night at our site as we did not feel safe based on the weather and needed access to water. We don’t recommend this place for camping especially
An entirely unexpected ranch environment gem complete with indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, cows roaming around the property, and expansive views throughout the Pawnee national grassland. As isolated as a cool lodging environment can get. The farmers breakfast in the morning couldn’t be beat complete with authentic seasoning.
Great wedding venue! The ranch is beautiful! We loved that we were able to use the cabins for our family and wedding guests. This made set up and rehearsal very easy. The food was amazing! Definitely would recommend having your wedding there!
Cabins have water damage and mold/mildew growing on the walls. The door to the cabin we were in did not open correctly and neither did the bathroom door. AC unit did not work. So many flies! Do not recommend.
