Sportsman Campground and Cottages

Our whole family loves coming here. We look forward to the fishing and relaxing each year. A lot of fun times spent here at the cabins at Sportsman Cottages.

Unloaded our gear, turned around and loaded it right back into the truck. These cottages are not fit for rental. They are falling apart and dirty. They smell and are in shambles. Heed the the review and stay away

Very outdated. Things held together by duct tape and glue. Very unprofessional staff who are rude and not personable. The location is gorgeous, as it is directly on Lake Champlain, but also right on a relatively busy road. Dirty beds, windows and appliances. I would NOT recommend staying here to a rat.

This is our fourth year at Sportsman and we continue to enjoy our time there. The owners welcomed us and our family and friends. Our site is awesome, reasonably priced, the pool is so great on hot days and our fellow campers are friendly and fun! Met some great folks who stayed in the cabins too!!! The campground is on the lake and the public boat launch is within .5 miles from the campground entrance. We couldn’t be happier with our experience to date, and have several new friends who have joined us!!! So great to pull in to a campground FULL of happy campers waving as we enter. Looking forward to many more years of fun, boating and friends. Thanks Dave, Penny, (And chief of security-Diz!😉).

Been staying here for 15 years. Sometimes once or twice a year, sometimes eight or nine times a year. Convenient and layed back atmosphere. Definitely not luxury accommodations, but homey and comfortable. They are always upgrading the accoutrements in the cabins, and the owners/staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
