Buyer beware!!!!!! ||There are multiple red flags with this campground, and after our experience, I truly don’t understand how they are still operating the way they do.|| 1. Hidden amenity costs: We were never clearly informed during booking that access to many advertised amenities (water slides, bumper boats, etc.) requires purchasing a wristband. The cost is $15 per person per day, which adds up quickly for families. The nightly rates are already very high, and we only justified them because of the amenities. This information is not clearly disclosed during checkout — it’s buried on the FAQ page.| 2. Inconsistent pricing: My sister and I booked sites next to each other within minutes of one another, and we both rented golf carts for the same timeframe. We were charged different rates, wi
My family and I stayed the week of July 15 through the 21st 2025. The campground was very nice and if you are doing a family vacation with young kids or adults who are young at heart. This is the best place. they have something to do for every age. daily activities include movie night, theme weeks, and the waterpark is amazing. The adult only pool was fantastic. The staff in the office was very welcoming and friendly, even with us having an error in our. I’d like to personally single out Peggy Glenn and Maria, who are awesome staff members and the Park should be very proud to have them! They really put the needs and experience of all the campers first and foremost! If I had to give one negative, it’s not really the campground’s fault, but maybe they should consider banning political flags
We were at rjourney Splash Magic RV Resort for a week long family vacation (there were 25 of us I believe!) and it was a great week. Most of us stayed in cabins, while 2 families were in RVs. The pool area was a great space for the whole family and the kids loved it. We combined 3 picnic tables for family dinner between 2 of the cabins and thoroughly enjoyed being able to spend time with everyone.||Our first day there was a little rough due to the power going out, but they replaced the breaker and got it back up and running very quickly. We're not 100% positive that they change the shower curtain between visitors and one of the cabins only had fabric curtains. The floors were definitely not thourghly cleaned (highly recommend you bring slippers or some sort of indoor shoe for when in
Front office staff was extremely welcoming and helpful when checking in. The dolphin cove cabins were just what I expected and enjoyed waking up to the water views. We debated bringing our boat because we weren't sure about the boat ramp location, but it's right by the main offices(for those of you who couldn't find this info online like me). Bumper boats, paddle boats, water slides and mini golf are well worth the $15. I felt safe letting our kids ride their bikes around the loop of the cove, this is a very family friendly resort. (Oh and the playground area is amazing) The snack stand has good food at good prices and Matteo's delivers to the main office and their food is great as well. Definitely recommend:)
The water quality was awful, we invested in a filter and the water was still yellow, it was gross to do anything with the water, to the point of not being able to shower or brush our teeth. I would not recommend anyone to stay there unless they fix the issue they have with the water. The picture is using a brand new high quality filter. I have stayed at other campgrounds and we never had any concerns with the water.
