Spirit Lake Cabins

We stayed in the Pine cabin here and found the layout and amenities attractive and clean.. Refrigerator, stove dishwasher and microwave in the kitchen. The living room has a couch, recliner, flat screen TV/DVD player w/cable and a small wood burner. 2 bedroom and a loft with a queen size bed. The bathroom has a large shower. All that and a complimentary bottle of wine and a gorgeous loaf of bread. I highly recommend Spirit Lake Cabins.

Wonderful summer vacations spent here that's for sure! Great fishing and location. Looking forward to making more memories in the Pine cabin!

We have rented here for 10 years as an overflow option for our family reunion at the cabins across the street. We've been willing to overlook a fairly overbearing owner as we spend such little time at the cabin itself. Recently, the owner has moved into the Pine cabin on a semi-permanent basis and it seems the lines are becoming blurred between this being a rental property vs. her home. We recently received a letter dated 6 months AFTER our last checkout with a list of supposed complaints from our last stay. When we called the owner due to our genuine confusion, she was aggressive and accusatory, threatening constant supervision and additional fees tacked onto our next stay. We feel blindsided and won't be returning. A word of caution to those considering renting here in the future! (P.

Nice, clean and modern cabins. We stayed in the Birch (smallest cabin). No air conditioner but great heat. We went here for a fishing trip. These cabins are not right on the lake. There is a busy road (hwy 32) in between the cabin and Spirit Lake. So with no a/c and having the windows open you hear traffic. We brought our own 14 ft boat with motor which turned out to be a big problem. Karen had no launch and there is no public access. So nice place but not to bring your own boat.

Established a decent relationship with the owner over the past 12+ years of renting her cabins for our annual family trip. 6 months after our latest trip, she sends us a nasty letter claiming that we didn't clean, or close the windows before we left. We called her immediately after receiving the letter to clear things up and she was extremely unprofessional and rude. We unfortunately, will not be going back. Use caution before booking. Lake is across a busy road. No access to this lake if you plan on bringing a boat.
