Southwinds Motel LLC

Very basic, functional and clean, certainly a great value. The pool was very nice, and big. Great for families looking to use as a base camp for fishing and visiting Stockton lake. The rooms are essentially long trailers/ pre-fabricated housing of tin outside and wood paneling inside. Bathrooms and facilities were dated but well-maintained and clean. A/C was loud, but kept the room cool in 90-100 degree heat. Would stay again

Loved this place. Went for a wedding and the full kitchen really saved the day as far as preparing food for the event. I left my book in my room after checking out and as soon as I noticed I called and they will be mailing it to me. Such friendly staff and great accommodation. Will be going again.

This is my 2nd stay and this time we got the larger room because we'll be here 2 nights and having a girl's weekend so wanted extra space. Very accommodating. They're having pool trouble today but working hard to get the saltwater pool up and running by tonight. Though we aren't on the lake you can see it from the parking lot. Beautiful area, friendly people, clean room, highly recommend.

We enjoyed our night at this simple, basic motel. It's older but very clean and quiet, with everything you need for a good night's sleep. We especially loved sitting on the shady porch outside our room, feeling the breeze and listening to the birds (including a peacock!).

What a wonderful place! Very clean rooms! Helpful, courteous staff. Pool very clean and fun. Close to the lake. Very reasonable rates. They made our stay fun and memorable! We will be returning soon!
