Southern Aire RV Resort

I'm giving 5 stars, not because this park is ritzy but because it offers a good value. The sites are level. My site had new utilities. Check in was quick. Price is very reasonable. Location is reasonably quiet. There is a pool and hot tub and a few other amenities. A bit dated, but still of use. Wish there was a WiFi service in the park. But again, the bang-for-the-buck factor is fairly good. I would return if in the area.

This park has EWS . No cable, no WiFi, (Complimentary WiFi in the community room but sketchy). Pool, Hot Tub, laundry, pool tables, mail service. Park is clean, people are friendly.||||Sites are very tight. Cement patios. my biggest complaint is very low water pressure, (they seem to have chronic water system problems, water shut off several time during my stay).||||20 minute drive to restaurants, shopping.

The lot sites need just a little work. All the staff are extremely nice and helpful. There are many planned activities to take part in as well. The club house,pool and bath rooms are always clean and well taken care of regularly.

I visited this place looking to bring my RV on site. Nice place with nice lots! Visited the main hall and met two wonderful ladies who immediately offered ice cream! Took it out to my wife who loved it and had to go in to thank them. The office was closed but I'll be calling them on Monday to check availability! Super nice people and a perfect location for me. Unfortunately since my Newmar Mountain Aire is older than 10 years, no matter that it's in excellent condition and looks great, it's a no go. I would expect an inspection or something to maintain visibility and safety standards but a blanket "No exceptions" was unexpected. Especially when looking at some of the RVs in the park that look far worse than mine. I'll add pictures of my rig in a later update to show the condition of my RV

Southern Aire RV Resort seems to be a mix of what we call 'permanents', seasonal, and transient campers. Everyone is mixed in together. In other words, there is not a section of the campground for permanents. The sites are close together. The campground staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful people we have ever encountered. They go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This includes getting a personal escort to your site. They check your site before you pull in to make sure that everything is in order. Some of the camping spaces back up to a major highway. The staff warned us about the traffic noise before we booked our reservation, but quite frankly, the noise was not bad at all. The camping fees are reasonable, and we would certainly consider this ca
