South Shore Lake Houses & RV Spaces

Our family rented both lake houses for a weekend anniversary party. They were clean and big enough for all 14 adults and 3 kids. They even had cribs in some of the rooms. The lake was nice and we went on a pontoon boat for a 2 hour cruise and swim adventure. Captain Mike was awesome, and we had a very good time. These are very nice people and we hope to stay again soon. I would say that if you only rent one house, the one that has 2 sets of bunk beds is much cooler for some reason in August, than the one with 1 set of bunk beds. The deck is really awesome on the house that had a little trouble staying cool, so we didn't care!! Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

Under new management, the banta house was very clean and open. Smelled great and ac was running when we came so pretty cool. The beds are comfortable and a lot to pick from. Wide kitchen and all amenities provided. Outside we had the lake all to ourselves and private. Fire at night enjoying the breeze and grilled meals after a swim was super relaxing. Loved every day there and def going back. Had a hard time leaving because we really enjoyed our stay.

Our four generation family spent the weekend at Robin's House at Banta RV Park. It was roomy, comfortable, and just a few steps to the water and very nice fishing pier. We only had to bring our food, fishing gear and games for a fun weekend. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the beds were very comfortable. We had a great weekend and hope to visit again.

Even though this was a double wide trailer, & it is inside an rv park, most of the residents live there & it's very quiet. Right on the lake & has its very own boat ramp & pier. The trailer was very clean & spacious. Large covered wrap around deck, Large kitchen & plenty of room for 13 or 14 people. We only had 9 people & were very comfortable. A/C works great . Only one large TV but had very nice lake views. Very kid & dog friendly. Easy access to local town of Kingsland with restaurants & HEB grocery. Definitely worth the price. If you come be cautious of the 5 mile speed limit & have fun. Would come here every summer..... thanks to the owners/mgrs who run this place. We had a 2 day family reunion with 35 people in June, had such a great time. We just got back from a 4 night stay with a family group of 13. Clean, friendly and great access to the water.
