South River Suites

This hotel is awful. The manager is horrible and avoids customers to avoid resolving issues or compensation. They also lie.|Our room was not ready 3 hours after check in. After being asked to wait 20 minutes we went upstairs 30 + minutes later and the room was still not ready. We stood in the hallway for over 20 more minutes. We were then moved to another room after being told no other 3 bedrooms were available. Were told this was an "upgraded room" however the room was dirty. Floors, walls, the couch, etc. All dirty. There were cracking in the walls. The shower rod was rusted. The shower head was rusted. The kitchen appliances were old. The bathroom sink didn't drain.|When we complained about the sink and the fact the remote wasn't working, we were told someone would have to fix it tomorr

.I visited Miami and booked this hotel for one night, but I was forced to leave because the conditions were unacceptable. The room was absolutely filthy — the floor was dirty, the AC would not go below 74 degrees, and the mattress was extremely soft and felt completely worn out. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property is clearly poorly maintained and lacks basic cleanliness standards. I felt very disappointed and frustrated. Not an ideal location if you want to be near "to do" stuff. Located in an industrial park. Rooms are not modern. Unfamiliar smells at times. However...that bring said, very safe and secure. Also affordable. And the staff is excellent and will help you with anything. Give it a shot if you're on vacay and only need a room to sleep in. Thar

The hotel is a bit dated and the first impression isn’t anything special, which also applies to the rooms. They seem to have had a light renovation and are simple, but they have everything you need. The towels, bathroom, and bed were clean, which is what matters most. The walls to the hallway and other rooms are a bit thin, so you can hear some noise. Overall, it’s a decent and clean place to stay if you just need a place to sleep.

We rented 2, 2 room suites, this, Older hotel is in need of renovation, it was reasonably priced, service was satisfactory, sheets were clean...but it's really ran down in the rooms, some family members were leary of using the shower, but I did, I also felt it was a safe area, but probably would be reluctant to book again
