South Fork Lodge

Me and my four friends came to the lodge after hours and were invited in and had an amazing meal. Then they provided us a room and made it a very nice stay. I would definitely come back again Idaho is so sick and this was the highlight of our trip going to south fork lodge!

Fishing the South Fork of the Snake River with the awesome guide Ed Emory is the ticket. After +30 years on the river, Ed knows this river like no one else. He is patient, kind and will put you on fish all day long. The river, its beautiful canyon and the wildlife just top off an amazing day in a drift boat.

Booked a south fork fly fishing float and it was amazing. Not much can beat the beauty of that river and valley. We caught tons of fish had great food and our guide was very knowledgeable.

South Fork Lodge checked every box — beautiful river, incredible fishing, gorgeous accommodations, and top-notch food and hospitality. Kevin, my server, made every meal enjoyable, and Mano’s creations were delectable! Already dreaming of my return.

4 childhood friends that go back 45 years had the best 5 days of fishing, eating and hanging out with each other acting like 12 years olds even though we are in our mid 50's. What a special place with an awesome staff that is helpful and always smiling and making you feel like you live at the lodge full time. One meal was better than the next with top quality that holds up against the best restaurants in NYC. Grounds and A frame residences are absolutely beautiful with views of the Snake River and surroundings. Room was fully furnished with a den and TV and full kitchen. Bar was a great place to hang with fireplace and huge selection of all of the finest alcohol choices. Fishing guides were talented and helpful for fly fishermen of all levels. Cannot say enough nice things about this
