South Fork Lodge

Stopped in the evening for a meal and was delighted with the owner and customers. After conversation and a delicious hamburger, we decided to spend the night. Wonderful experience in a beautiful Country cabin, Dave and Anne Slautterback .

First off, the resort is in a beautiful spot. But like most reviews - the owners are horrible & extremely greedy. The employees will tell you one thing, then Wayne (one of the owners) will come chew you out & cuss in front of your kids for doing what his employees said. ||Also bathroom house was never touched once in our whole stay, & both a toilet in mens & womens had a sewer back up & was unusable. I don’t even know if they have house keeping.. we stayed in the Buffalo cabin. It leaks when it rains, & is extremely rustic.. also the deck is so rotten that I wouldn’t stand on it. Plus missing rails so not safe for children - for $305 a night - trust me it ain’t worth it. Spend your money at a resort that actually deserves it. ||We also were lied to about them having more cabins available-

We had such an amazing time here. Beautiful and clean cabins. South Fork Lodge is placed perfectly with a picturesque pond and picnic area. Our kids loved fishing, hiking and met all the kids in the neighboring cabins for s'mores in the evening. The restaurant has a variety of food for each meal time and they got a thumbs up from our crew. We highly recommend making this a stop on your journey through Wyoming ❤️

Coffee maker doesn’t work. Used toothbrush in the corner of the bathroom. Yuk. Makes you want Nader on the rest of the cleanliness. Bug guts in the light fixtures. No one cared about our concerns. Horrible.

Didn’t stay in cabins; just had a meal here. Food was excellent. We all enjoyed the meal and the gift shop. Beautiful location too.
