Secluded, not crowded and beautiful. Worth the drive if you want to visit the reservoir, but don't want to be bothered by a lot of ppl. Nice spot for swimming or camping with kids. Has boat lunch, bathroom and covered picnic area.
Very fun with family & friends! The out house was stocked with toilet paper, cleaned & new toilet seat! 2 days later the toilet paper was gone & someone made a bad mess on the toilet & floor. I wish blm would ck on it every couple of days
There's not much here, and isn't that the point? I didn't catch any fish, but that's probably due to wind making everything choppy and muddy. It's a pretty cool spot, but there isn't a tree line or anything to block the frequent strong winds.
Used it to launch boat from with friends. Fishing was so so this year but did catch a nice Northern pike and friends wife caught a 14 lb lake trout
No trees and 1 small are for shade and picnic table.
