Tim and his staff are very personable. All amenities were very nice. We really enjoyed the pancake toss. Don’t miss it. If you’re near Tok I would recommend checking out this nice camp ground! Enjoy.
Nice stop to Sourdough Lookout as the trail can be very challenging. Much more doable if camping here for a night. Early June, all campsites still fully covered in snow. It’s hard to find a flat space to actually setup a tent. Ignore the other review, I don’t think it was for the correct location. This is a wilderness campground. You don’t have any amenities.
Don’t stay here. There are no firepits at the campsite (but they don’t tell you that until you show up). The picnic tables are half size, but also rotten through. Sat down on the picnic table and the bench broke.
Staff is very friendly. We enjoyed the food and service at cafe.
