Sooner Motel

Stayed here traveling route 66 thru Oklahoma. Summer of 2025 It is a nice place older route 66 type. Motel so you could here the traffic on route 66 during the night but not a problem just what old motels were like. Most of the other people staying there were people working in the area so your fellow travelers were nice to talk to in the morning and the place was quiet and peaceful. The rooms were what you expected from a older motel, our room was clean and comfortable and I must say the shower in our room even being in a older motel was probably one of the best with a perfect shower head and pressure. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Very clean rooms, no bugs of any kind. The managers are very friendly and attentive. 5/5 would definitely return or recommend.

$50.00 for two people... can't beat that price!||My wife and I stayed for a wedding at the Tatanka Ranch (google it... pretty cool place).||We wanted a bed and hot shower so we booked the Sooner... Good choice!||Sure, its an ole dinosaur from the route 66 days... I bet in the 60's it was a hopping gig!!!||Room was clean, everything worked just fine...||I would definitely stay here again. There are a couple of things you should expect when staying in these older motels. First, when you walk into the room it is going to smell a little musty... Kick the AC or heat on and it will be fine. Remember, you are not staying in a 5 star so do not expect 5 star stuff for what you paid. TV worked great. Service is great! Lady is very Hospitable, room are great for the price. If I ever pass by again im definitely coming back.
