Sonny Side RV Park

If you love quiet, secluded woods for camping, you will love Sonny’s Side of the Mountain. Six large RV slots with new utility and circle drive in and out. We walked around after a rain and saw deer tracks and a baby black bear’s footprints. I want to go back when autumn color starts. Near Robber’s Cave State park at Wilburton Ok if you hike and swim. Sardis Lake 18 miles toward Clayton. I don’t fish but lots of boats there. I asked about name: owners Uncle Sonny died before they found Sonny’s Side of the Mountain site. Good roads. No traffic except for a few owners of homes in area. We are stopping back there when we leave Ft Smith going home. Reasonable. Pets on leash. Supervise kid at all times. Glad to be first customer. Rustic. Quiet. No hunting anything.

We stayed for a week during a construction project in Wilberton. This place has Great Rates, is very quite, has full hookups, water and sewer, additional 120v on-site is a plus. Nice firepits in the woded area and access to laundry facility on-site. Personally, I love it here, its very quite and peaceful, the managers are very accommodating and allowed me to setup my hammock in the wooded area and build a campfire. He even brought me a chug of firewood for the night. Said no promises but here ya go & asked if I wanted anything else before he drove off. Nice guy, great place, I may bring the family back for an outdoor retreat when the weather cools off.

Hidden jem of an RV Park. I stayed last night when passing thru and needed to sleep unexpectedly. Thanksss to God this place is here and I got in at a Grand Opening special discount!!! ✨️ 🙏 🙌 💛 I even did my laundry that was piling up and built a campfire and made smores while I waited for my cloths and sheets to finish!!! Try this place, you will love it
