Sonic Motel

The location is set perfectly between Lacrosse and Winona. It's right off the highway, so no need to travel through the town located a mile or so away. The property manager, Gabby, was amazing and got us in and out of processing in a flash. The Month to Month leases were perfect for me as a traveling contractor. It was also accommodating some traveling nurses and some seasonal employees. Five stars for service and it was exactly what I needed for my time there.

My husband and I stayed here for just one night but will be coming back here the next time we are in the area. It is an older property but the room was spacious and the staff very friendly. Great bargain for a room with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. I loved that there was plenty of space to store your belongings as clutter makes me uncomfortable.

Room was large with fridge and microwave bed was good pillows were thin. Carpet was new and clean as was the room very nice towels great water pressure in the shower Will stay again it was everything we were looking for

Have stayed here a few times over the years . This property is out of the 1960's and still might have some of the original furniture. The people who work there are very nice and work hard. There is a nice place to eat in the evening on the adjacent property that is a short easy walk. I would say the biggest draw in the Galesville area. Beautiful area not far from the Mississippi River. The area is so pretty in the fall and while you could stay in Lacrosse a short distance away I do like to stay at a family run place like this.

The Sonic is a tuckered-out old motel with flashes of interesting memorabilia that hark back to better times. I think the management has confused "retro" with "zero maintenance."||||The Good: It was available. For some reason, there were no other rooms available in the area for the night we needed. This was. The room was big, and the king bed was very comfortable. The shower was nice with plenty of pressure and hot water.||||The Bad: It's right next to a busy highway, and the road noise is loud. The room was too warm, and it was impossible to cool it with the tiny in-window AC unit which was incredibly loud, so it's a choice of two evils: loud AC or open windows with road noise.||||The Ugly: The entire motel could use a little attention. The crank-out windows were either broken
