Customer Reviews
We booked two nights here at the spur of the moment, eager to try out our new travel trailer, and we were not disappointed. The spots are very easy to back into, the hookups were easy and the whole park seemed quite clean and well looked after despite it being off-season (September). The lake itself was captivating and the history surrounding it was fun to investigate. All around the lake there are places to stop off and read placards about the area, the Native Americans and early settlers. A truly beautiful and peaceful place. We look forward to coming back next year.
Thank you Mayor Peter Sharp for personally driving by everyday (sometimes twice a day!!!!) to make sure everything is in order. It felt Very Safe this year! Also Big Thanks for so much improvement at the camp and around city. We had great time staying and will be back.
We had a great time here - would suggest asking more information on site before booking if you are a larger rig. Some sites are narrow with trees on both sides. Great area to access water, some rocks so bring shoes! Great swings by gazebo and gazebo to sit in. We were lucky that we were there for Sun & Suds fireworks on the lake. Quick walk to town, didn’t use bathrooms but appeared very clean - nice they are locked so it stays clean. Friendly helpful staff on the phone. Would come back!!
Great view but it’s very disappointing that for a place called “Soap Lake Resort RV Park” you have to pay extra to actually use the resort. Lots of random people wandering through the RV park because it’s literally connected to the public park next door. There is zero management on site and we had to kick a family out of our spot when we showed up. Edit in response to the owner. I stand by my statement that your security is nonexistent. They didn’t stop the family that was originally parked in my spot. Or the multiple groups of teenagers that were hanging out in your gazebo or the guy that showed up, parked in an empty RV spot went for a swim and then did yoga in your gazebo. Either the locals are confused because this used to be a public park and there isn’t any actual park staff to tell
For somewhere that was supposed to be a relaxing stay, it’s been the most frustrating RV park I’ve ever dealt with. The staff are lovely people and try to be helpful, but frequently told me conflicting information. It’s just been one thing after another after another that have made our time here significantly more stressful than it should have been. 1) There is construction on the two roads (Canna St N and 1st Ave NE) leading to the resort, where RVtripwizard and Google maps directs you. It would have been helpful to have some heads up in an email prior. The two people I spoke to gave me conflicting information, which led me back into the construction. It also wasn’t where the RV’s park. 2) The RV park is on the other side of a public park. They advertise the space as a “private beach”, bu
