Customer Reviews
We took my 7 year old to snow star for his birthday, we all had a blast! We went tubing. Concessions is a bit pricey in my opinion. I wouldnt suggest wearing new gear as the tubing hill was super muddy at the bottom. It may not be like this all of the time but just a heads up prepare to possibly get dirty while waiting in line, but its worth it! We had some car issues and issues with the fire pit and the staff was wonderful at helping us!! We will definitely be back!
Kaley at the food Snowstar food court is amazing, so kind, respectful, and welcoming to everyone. She truly makes customers feel valued and cared for. Highly recommend the place and food court.
Pros: -The staff was super nice, from front desk to rental counter to instructors. -Price of the rental, lift ticket, and lesson package is a great deal for beginners Cons: - They were actively blowing snow when we were there during the day. It was also super windy, so also being blasted by snow did not make for enjoyable conditions. - The bunny hill (lesson area with the only magic carpet) was closed due to them grooming it. So we had to have our lesson on the bunny hill with the tow rope. - TOW ROPES SUCK. (in general, not just theirs) They are exhausting for children and adults alike who are already exhausted from trying to learn to ski/snowboard - The bunny hill we were learning was all ice from top to bottom. This makes it super hard to learn on and even harder to fall on. And we fel
We went when not all hills were open. I wish both bunny hills had the conveyor system and not the rope pull. There was little staff around and my kids were just learning and there were bigger kids messing around and cutting them off. It became dangerous so we ended up leaving. I am sure if there were workers what they were doing would have been addressed. We did enjoy learning there and it is a good place for those just learning. The price is also more reasonable than other places which is nice for us more casual skiers.
We had so much fun skiing and tubing here. 10 out of 10 highly recommend even though there was not a lot of snow. The live music in the bar area was terrific. Our bartender Chris was hands down the coolest and the owners of this establishment were both so very kind. I will definitely be returning to enjoy more fun on the ski hill. Everybody who reads this should plan to make a trip to check Snowstar out!!
