Primitive camping easily accessible from the road. Free. No services available (except phone coverage). Great view.

The early morning & night time skies are really awesome when the weather's ok. It gets hot, dry & windy in the summer. Because Lake Mead is so empty, it's a long way to the water.

Great boondocking / dry camping spot! Amazing views. I was here for several days in Jan 2024, plenty of space for all types of rigs. I had good ATT service while here - 4 bars of 5G service. No water, electric or dump station. It was quiet and bug free during my stay. Those who ran generators did so during late morning and shut them down before dark. A few walking trails / paths are accessible, though not marked. I would stay here again. Minus 1 star only because it is good, not great. Town is a short drive and has good, but limited options for resupply.

Beautiful place, you can see for miles, wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Overton NV is less than 5 miles up the road, people are polite and quiet, people who come here clean up after themselves, and have been coming for years. There's also quite a few things to do, lake Mead is close, fishing, boating, boat tours, as well as storage, and MANY free boondocking places, so is the Valley of fire (definitely a place you should visit)

First time here lots of spots to pick from in mid November. As other post have said loads of nice views from atop the mesa. Short drive to Valley of Fire SP for a day outing and Lake Mead. The city of Overton has groceries and the city park area has lots of trash bids for that stuff.
