Snow Cap Inn

We stayed here last year and had a wonderful time and the service was great. This year was quite different and a big disappointment. We arrived Sunday and are checking out Wednesday. During this time we had no service for the room. No trash removal, no towels, no toilet paper. We did not see a notice to as for service. There was no one at the desk - just a sign to call the main hotel. I called and asked for new towels and where I could put the used towels. They said just keep the old ones in the room (obviously this person has never been in one of the rooms to gain an understanding of the microbathroom). It took 2 hours for someone to bring towels. They offered to come clean the room Tuesday late afternoon or Wednesday morning. If you have experienced how good they could be this stay was

The rooms are small and cozy. The bathroom is a bit small but was clean which is most important. Very friendly staff. My friends and I spent old years into new years here. It was a quiet and cozy one to experience and so close to Sunday River Ski Resort.

Went for the tough mountain challenge! We stayed just one night. The front desk was very helpful and friendly before and while we were there. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Pet friendly was a huge plus! Easy to access Very well kept inside and out. Hot tub available Beautiful rustic decor inside Highly recommend

Room was clean and comfortable . Location was fantastic shuttle bus was great!! Staff was friendly. I would have liked to have given 5 stars across the board, however I can not. For two reasons ,First being We were arriving a night early so I tried to call to see if they had a room available. They phone number I used to make the reservation that's listed on line had no one to answer in the evening! I was surprised because this is not a small resort. The second reason is the checking time verses the checkout time being charged a full day but you can't check in until after 5pm checkout is 10:30

I can always count on Snow Cap Inn to provide a wonderful experience! Perfect location 2 minutes from the Sunday River slopes with a shuttle that comes every 30 minutes. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Love the two fireplaces and the complimentary coffee and tea. Excellent blueberry muffins in the morning and fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. The hot chocolate bar at night is comprehensive and fabulous. The recently remodeled jacuzzi and fire pits located just a few feet from the front door is the perfect place for warming sore muscles apres skiing. The rooms are basic and comfortable. The rates provide good value. If you are looking for a great spot to stay close to Sunday River the Snow Cap Inn is the place to be!
