The bathrooms have pay showers—and even the toilets feel like pay toilets, since only registered campers or paying visitors are allowed to use them. Here's the kicker: the visitor fee expires at a certain hour. After that, if you’re in the shower or on the toilet when the clock runs out, you could literally get pulled out by staff. Yes, really, it happened to me! That’s not hypothetical — it happened to me. After paying an additional visitor fee for the week, I was using the restroom one evening when the owners (both male and female) came in and stood over me, demanding that I get off the toilet immediately because it was “after hours.” It was humiliating and deeply upsetting. I was so shaken by the incident that I contacted the police and even called a lawyer. Unfortunately, nothing cam

We stayed at the Smoke Rise Campground and could not have been more pleased. The new owners were very pleasant and most welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us. We were on a motorcycle tour of New England and stayed in a 5th wheel trailer at the campground, which was fully quipped. I would definitely recommend this campground to anyone in the area and would definitely stay there again.

We have been here 4 days and have loved! We are traveling in a 45 ft class A with a tow vehicle. The park is super clean with large spaces and scattered trees. Fred, the owner, rides around in his golf cart to be sure everyone is pleased. Although we didn't use the pool the ones that did seemed to be enjoying it. We went to Killington Peak, The Champlain Dinner Train and our friends went to Fort Ticonderoga while we were here. The nice little town of Brandon has shops and a few nice restaurants. Our favorite was The River Pub & Grill. We would all definitely recommend this park and would return.

Great campground. We stayed for 4 nights. Booking the spots was easy as well as check in. There were 3 rigs in our group. The owner came by and introduced himself. The grounds were neat and clean. Very well maintained. If we are back this way again, we will definitely be staying here.

We stayed at the campground for 1 night. Checkin was easy and the staff were excellent, helping us get settled. The site was perfectly level and had ample room for the coach and our Jeep.the restrooms were clean and the grounds well maintained. There wasn’t a dog park but there was a large open grassy area that our pups enjoyed. We will definitely come back.
