Smith River RV Park

Enjoyed a weekend stay during Labor Day 2025. We were in town for a travel baseball tournament, and located this camp ground on campspot. Looked at the location and decided to give it a try. The female who answered the phone for my reservation was extremely friendly. Even calling the day of our arrival to make sure they wouldn’t miss us if we were close. We still got there late, but all the check-in information was in the outside box and had no issues setting up our camper. The campsite that we were at was very level. Had no issues with electrical or water. However, there was no picnic table at all of the locations, Didn’t make that big of deal with it, we managed without one . Also found it kind of a little weird having to use a key fob to access the restroom/shower/ laundry building, but

WHAT A FUN EXPERIENCE! The staff at this park are the BEST! Very accommodating for all the race fans that came for the Martinsville Spring race. We had such a relaxing time when not at the track. The river that runs along the campground is beautiful and available to tube on! The dog park is spacious and clean. The entire park was so clean. Eli was such a great worker and made our stay and race experience extra special by driving a shuttle to the track. Truly, great vacation! Thank you!

This place was amazing!!! We booked pretty late for the spring Martinsville race but they were very accommodating. We tent camped. They had a 20amp outlet on our site, within short walking distance was a well kept bathhouse with locked private bathrooms and showers. It also includes vending machines and laundry services. They strung up night lights for us and also offered shuttle service for all three races. The price was very fair to top it off! Just incredible!! The whole experience was steller! Thank you so much for the weekend.

First time camping at this RV Park. It was a wonderful experience. Very clean and well maintained. Heather was very polite and helpful with our check in experience. Our spot near the river was perfect and very relaxing. We will be back again soon to visit.

New owners have put in a ton of work to make the campground look great! Staff is amazing always willing to help and friendly. Have been here 8 months and they have made a lot of changes! Excited for the new summer activities. Great long term option with bathhouse and laundry on site! Close to grocery stores and Dollar stores for ease of quick shopping.
