Smith Lake RV Park

Nice place on a small lake. Great fishing! Very reasonable rv spot rates

We were on the road from Texas and needed a one night stay at an RV Park. We called Lake Smith from the website we found. The owner was very nice and met us at the park, however, the park had mostly residents living there in their RVs (nothing wrong with that) but seemed a bit messy and disorganized there. Across from our site, someone had left his dog tied up outside which was very upsetting to me. Eventually the guy got home from work and took the dog inside. We didn't see the dog outside the next morning when we left so that was good. That should not be allowed by any owner! The park is more of a home for those living in RVs and not a destination place to RV, even for a night. We will say the Wifi was amazing though and very fast. Think we paid $35 for a night which seemed alot

Nice quiet park pretty scenery of private lake, can't swim but you can kayak or fish from bank. Has laundry mat and showers available. The owner Ricky is real nice and keeps the pace clean. Long term or temporary spots available.

My contact with Smith Lake RV Park, especially the manager, Ricky Christian, was a very pleasant experience. Mr. Christian was very professional, courteous, helpful, customer friendly, and took care of all my needs. Smith Lake RV Park is a paradise secluded away from the main highway and the noise from I-10, but conveniently located with in walking distance to Wal-Mart and civilization. It is tucked away in the woods, by a scenic lake. Best of both worlds, a very safe, secluded, peaceful, and scenic atmosphere. I would highly recommend Smith Lake RV Park to anyone traveling to Texas. Ricky Vincent

Beautiful lake you can back up to with your RV, also nice children’s waterpark on one end, very close to shopping, and a very quiet place to stay
