Smith Lake Campground

Free up to 14 days of camping. Was only there one night due to weather. Not a bad spot but there is no camp host so you will find fire rings full of ash and wood. Other than that it was a quiet night and no problems. There is a short distance to the lake where there is grills and place to launch boats. Over all a good experience, and would recommend to anyone looking for a good time to camp.

Wonderful place to take family fishing/picnicing. Clean, quiet and beautiful.

Great Free Campground, Bathroom kept clean and stocked on toilet paper. Wonderful sites, and two fishing docks. Great grills, though with the Stage 2 Fire Restrictions we didn't get to use them. Would be Five Stars but there are quite a few wasp nests throughout, and several of us are Severely Allergic.

Wonderful campground with a beautiful lake to kayak,swim, fish you name it. There is also a bale eagle that roost's near the lake we saw the eagle all four days we stayed here, she was breath taking. Good facilities, quite and free. I will stay here again.

Nice little campground, great little lake! Has 8 sites, hand pump water, poor cell reception for Verizon, none for T-Mobile or AT&T. No electric, no dump station. Trash must be carried out. Quiet place in the woods close to town (5 miles).
