Smith Creek Retreat

Beautiful secluded getaway! We have been there 4 times and it is always clean. We love how quiet it is. WiFi and TV are provided if you want to watch a movie or talk with family. Very nice grilling area by the creek too. We love it there!

I thought I had reviewed this already but maybe that was just on Airbnb 🤷🏼‍♀️ so my apologies if this is a repeat. Google told me to do it 😬. This was a nice little house in an absolutely perfect setting. It is nestled down in the Boxley Valley down a gated tree-covered lane alongside a creek. There are some aged structures on the property that were interesting to walk around and I also found some wild strawberries, which I did not eat. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re not familiar with the area be aware that you will need to bring food with you to prepare. I’m not even sure where the closest McDonalds is…maybe Harrison? Anyway, just be prepared to make your meals as if you were at home. Boxley Valley in Arkansas's Boston Mountains is the heart of the Earth IMHO. This secluded retreat, on the banks of Smith Creek, is a quiet slice of heaven. Silence. Stars. Buffalo River Trail access by walking back up the driveway. Outdoor fire ring, stone patio grilling area with picnic tables, porch and large deck on the cabin. Book early.

Awesome place. Regina and Bill run a very nice place that is secluded in the middle of heaven. Cannot reccomend enough!
