Slumber Manor Motel

Exceptional! The elderly owners were very sweet and cared about the quality and cleanliness of the room, as it was spotless. Close to main road but noise was not an issue. There’s a great seafood place right next door that can easily be walked to, and lots of shopping options in the immediate area. The ocean is a five minute drive on charming back roads, so easy to get there to enjoy shoulder season beach festivities and events. This motel is also going to make a wonderful retreat for my future winter overnight trips, and the price is very reasonable.

I can not say enough good things about this place. Never ever have I enjoyed a motel more. The owners are the nicest I have ever delt with . The rooms are spotless. The beds are so comfortable. Outside they have tables and grills. We have stayed there many times. It's our home away from home. It's affordable and beautiful.

Affordable and clean Motel that offers a small room and bed to sleep in. The room we were in smelled musty, in turn so did our belongings once we left the establishment. We stayed for one night. Super friendly owners and very clean room, minus the smell. The step getting into the office and our hotel room were very high. It is difficult for elderly and shorter people while carrying things from car to room.

I lucked out in finding this gem and getting even luckier when they had a last minute vacancy. I'm actually here today and I can tell you THIS is the place to stay! The staff (two ladies and a man) are all so friendly, smiling, helpful, and nice! The room? WOW is my word. I got an end unit so that was nice. All the outside doors have storm doors so you can open them and get more sunlight - how nice is that? The mattress, not sure what it is, but it feels like a big fluffy pillow and is SO comfortable. The room is very clean, and it has a microwave, fridge and freezer (not a dorm size but bigger!). The water is hot and pressure is high. You can park right outside your door which, for me, is a must safety and convenience features. It's a short drive off I95 and has many food option

We spent one night at this small, super quiet family owned motel. Management was helpful with booking. Room 7 was cozy, perfectly clean and well maintained (fresh paint, impeccable bedspread -and the small refrigerator and microwave oven both looked new). There is a picnic area with grills for guests to use, which is a nice touch. Location is good, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The only downsides:  the mattress was a bit tired,  one bed linen had a tear at the seams and the AC was not super efficient. Overall, I give the Slumber Manor 4 stars because cleanliness and peacefulness are more important than a rip in a bed sheet.
