Sleepy Hollow Country Inn

Rooms were extremely clean and well kept. They were dated to some degree, and not fancy, but not short on anything needed. We are anglers and had a boat and they were extremely accommodating to our needs. It is right in between Auburn and Skanetlees so there are plenty of restaurants and things to do with a few min. drive east or west. I would highly recommend staying here. It would get a 5 star rating if the furniture and decor were modernized and if there was ice and a continental breakfast. I don't need any of those things, but I know some do, so kept the rating at 4 star.

By luck we found this lovely little motel just outside of Auburn. It was a short drive to the center of Auburn yet in a peaceful and quiet location. Our room was large and inviting and exceptionally clean. There were even real quilts on the beds! If we had stayed longer we would have enjoyed taking advantage of the large table and chairs outside each room which was well protected from any rain. The proprietor was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this motel!

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Canada. The landscaping of the place needed work. At first I was worried that it was going to be a dive motel but we were pleasantly surprised. The man at the front desk was very friendly and told us about the town. The room was basic but very clean. The bed was comfortable. You have to drive about 10 minutes up the road for food but it wasn’t a big deal to us. They had a table and chairs outside each room which was really nice to be able to sit outside. Overall it was a nice clean place and we would stay here again.

Sleepy Hollow Motel is a wonderful step back in time. Our room was immaculate in every way. Spotless. The owner was very friendly, with a good smile. WeI can recommend Sleepy Hotel Motel highly to anyone that is thinking of staying there. We will be back again!

The rooms were very clean, and while it's an "old style" motel, it suited our group of 4 couples perfectly. The outdoor space was very pleasant, and Ernie couldn't have been more accommodating. It was a great value, in a great location, for a peaceful and fun trip!
