Sleepy Eyed Goose Resort

We just returned from our first stay at Sleepy Eyed and have already reserved again for next year. What a great place. Grounds and cabins are immaculate! Absolutely loved mornings on the screened in porch. We loved having a dock so we could bring our pontoon boat with us. The docks are in really great shape also. Nice quiet stay with many campfires while sitting by the lake. We even saw a few of the Northern Lights. The owners Les and Kristi were very helpful with anything we asked about the area.

The owners of this resort work very hard. They make sure that everything is just right because they want you to feel welcome. They are very helpful if needed to do about anything if you need help with anything. It’s really a nice place and all of the people staying here are very nice. They have a well established clientele here; so, you end up with nice people and well behaved kids here and there. It’s great to watch the kids. They have a blast around here and I enjoy talking with them and watching them trying to catch a fish.

There is not one bad thing I can say about this place. Friendly people, clean cabin on the water, pontoon was great, even had two fans in the cabin. Just beautiful! Loved the gift shop. Would highly recommend! We wish we could have brought our two small dogs but we also understand why a lot of places don't allow. We get it. We fell in love with the place. Thank you to the owners who work their butts off to make it so clean and beautiful!

We had a phenomenal time here. The cabin was spotless, the view was incredible, and Les and Kristi are so kind and helpful. We stayed here for our honeymoon and fell in love with the resort and surrounding area. We enjoyed day trips, relaxing on the porch, cruising around the lake, and making bonfires. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an excellent time during the first week of September, 2020. There were 4 of us in one of the 3 BR cottages that had a beautiful view of the lake. I can't say enough about how nice everything was, as well as the owners. There is a wonderful mini harbor to park your boat out of the wind if you so choose and a nice fish cleaning station when the fish cooperate. We had some great fires in the pit right next to the cottage and the cottages are spaced just far enough apart to give you some privacy but not to far so as not to make new friends. The inside of the cottages are clean and rustic, just the way we like them with a nice glassed in porch to set in if the bugs or rain gets too bad. Overall, a wonderful time on the lake.
