Sleep Inn & Suites North Liberty - Liberty City

Winter weather forced us off the road and we happened to find availability at the Sleep Inn in North Liberty. My husband and I were traveling with our two dogs. Our room was at the end of the hall, double queen beds. The room was HUGE compared to most sites which was a very welcomed and nice surprise. The room was clean with updated contemporary bedding which sparkled white. Other positives during our stay were the new, high quality towels, friendly and professional front desk clerk, and updated bathroom. Highly recommend this location. It was very comfortable and surprisingly affordable for a last minute booking with two dogs.

I don’t know what happened in the last two years to this hotel, but I felt that it was dirty,. The bed in our room was hard as a rock, so needless to say, I woke up very achy and could hardly walk because my back hurts so bad and then the elevator breaks of course we’re on the third floor , I probably won’t stay here again because it is totally gone downhill in the last couple years. Thank goodness the coffee was hot.!

I reserved the room with the hot tub in it which cost a little more. I get there and the hot tub wasn't working which I found out after I got to my room, I went to the front desk and asked if I could get a small refund and pay for a regular room rate there was no hesitation on their part. They refunded some of what my room cost since the hot tub wasn't working. Excellent service!

Super clean rooms, comfortable beds. The heater/air conditioner usually bothers me in most hotel rooms because it cycles on and off—usually takes me forever to fall asleep when I hear that. This hotels heating/cooling system was on constantly (which I’m used to from home) so it was super easy to fall asleep. Friendly staff. I’d definitely stay here again!

On a cross country trip, I was not planning on stopping near Iowa city, but per the weather and seeing too many cars off the highway into the ditch this looked like a good place to stop for the night. Got a great deal on a room for me and my dog. The clerk, Mae, was pleasant to work with on the phone and the manager was very accommodating with my situation. Room was clean, plenty of amenities, didn’t have any noisy neighbors, morning coffee was hot. I’d stay here again.
