Sleep Inn & Suites Columbia

I really wanted this hotel to work for us because we travel from indiana every weekend for church and typically stay a town over this place is closer for us but definitely needs some improvement in room cleaning. The exhaust fan in the bathroom has not been cleaned obviously in quite some time, there was hair in the shower area as well as on the toilet. And bathroom sink very slow to drain. The hotel itself is in a convenient location and if rooms were cleaned better id have rated it better. Because booking and service were good

Had a good price for such a wonderful,  clean, pretty room.  front desk service was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious,  hot biscuits and gravy and bacon eggs sausage

Came in from out of town to visit my grandpa in Russell springs for Thanksgiving. I had a very bad experience with a motel in Russell Springs. So I called this hotel, the booking staff on the phone were very kind, patient, and helpful. They got me booked in maybe 5 minutes. I drive around 17-20 mins to the hotel. The front desk staff were also kind and efficient, they gave me my key with 2-3 minutes of walking in. We grabbed our things, headed to our roll and it was indeed a breathe of fresh air. The room didn’t have any kind of smell to it, just fresh. My wife and I had some of the best sleep we’ve had in a while. Staff was great. Bed was great. The motion activated entry light was a pain due to coming on every time the bathroom was used. Breakfast didn't include an egg dish which was not good as there was one of us who is gluten sensitive, i.e., not able to eat biscuits, bread, waffles or gravy.

First, we have been staying at the hotel for YEARS. Up until this trip, everything has been great. Upon check in, I was asked if we would like room services while we were there to which I answered YES. This was acknowledged by the clerk who checked us in. We then went to our room and found that it had an odor. The room smelled like there was mildew. We turned on the AC unit hoping it would help yet the next morning was the same then the next afternoon was the same. Also, that evening, the room had not been cleaned. I went down to the desk and asked the young man to verify that it had been indicated that I asked for room service. He checked and said yes. I asked why the room had not been cleaned and he began with, "well, we had a lot of guests here and they just didn't get to your
