Sleep Inn DeWitt - Lansing North

Nice, quiet location. Clean room with a very comfortable bed with a good choice of pillows. The woman who checked us in had good suggestions for restaurants. My only complaint is the towels, and that's not the fault of this hotel. The towels were labeled / branded Choice Hotels, and they were not 100% cotton. Choice Hotels would be wise to return to 100% towels. All in all, I'd stay there again.

Positive: The room was warm and comfortable, had new bed linens, duvet, nice pillows. New shower. They were pet friendly. The breakfast was pleasant with a diy freshwaffles maker Negative: The carpets were not as clean i would hope.

Sleep Inn experience depends on the ownership. I would say because this is the only choice hotel in the town and I was working five minutes away. It was convenient. The place needs updating, but it’s ok. The hallways smell nice. PTAC unit was old, but it wasn’t noisy so that’s fine. I think the price they were charging is the maximum for what they are offering. Particularly the mattresses are not all that good. I’ve seen worse. I stay at a lot of motels because I work out of town. One thing I’d like ALL motel owners to understand is that the mattress is the top reason the people rent your rooms. So they don’t have to sleep in their car. They wanna have a place to sleep, shower, and use bathroom. But the main part of the room is the mattress it’s more important then the TV. Or any so-called

The Sleep Inn Dewitt is a great value. I had a perfect night's sleep. It met all my requirements: close, quiet, and comfortable. Plus I got a good breakfast! The staff was professional and friendly from check in to check out. I would stay here again without hesitation. Anyone that has anything bad to say about this place most likely is trying to get a free night's stay because this is a great motel whether you're staying just for a night or here foe a couple of days and an event.

I stay almost exclusively at Choice hotels and have been to most of them in the Lansing area. This one is slightly cheaper than the best ones, but not worth it and I will not be returning. First, I don't believe my room had its own climate control. I could not find it anywhere and it was freezing at night. Then, they were super weird about me getting DoorDash even though its allowed. I forgot to pack a razor and ordered it to my room but got an unexpected phone call and didnt grab it from my door right away. Maybe 30-60 minutes tops the front desk CALLS my room to tell me it's outside my door...it seems courteous but at the same time its so weird to feel like your door is being watched or something? Like do they just watch a camera outside everyone's door or do a walk through or something?
