Skyline Motel INC

This is a good little motel to do a pitstop at when traveling the U.P. The views are great, right along Lake. They even have a viewing deck. The hotel room I rented was dog friendly as well. But the room itself wasn't that great. There was no bolt lock on the door, just the door knob. No chain, this was scary and someone actually tied to get into our room. We assumed it was a drunk person confused but not having that 2nd lock on the door was scary. Also, one of the beds has dead bugs between the sheets. There was also some odd crispy white stain on the comforter. But this room has 3 beds which was great!! And management was kind and great. The restaurant next to the motel would have been nice but they did not allow dogs on their outdoor deck which was disappointing. Overall would not come

Enjoyed immensely!!!! Rooms very clean ,view couldn’t be better, Service was great! Location is right off Highway 2 .

This quaint little motel along the shores of Lake Michigan is a hidden gem. It’s just 25 minutes west of St. Ignace and only 15 minutes from a beautiful 9-hole golf course, making it a perfect spot for both relaxation and recreation. Within walking distance, you’ll find two restaurants and a convenient store, so everything you need is right at hand. The owners are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. A wonderful place to unwind and feel right at home.

I would absolutely not recommend this motel. We went up to the U.P. for a night on a whim and this was the only place open. The bathroom had so much mildew in it, all along the baseboards, all in the windows. It was so disgusting that we didn't even shower. All night I was smelling mildew. I'm not sure they even wash the blankets in between guests because it's heavily doused in febreze. There's no fridge, no coffee maker nothing in the room. The rooms stunk so bad they were so outdated the beds look like they were from the '70s and were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. We would have been better off in our truck sleeping.

We had an amazing view and really nice room. Owners were amazing and even invited us for a bonfire. One of the best nights of my trip and I look forward to coming again!
