Skybrook Campground

Call to cancel reservations because we were tent camping and it’s been 40 degrees and rain hung for three days. The lady said you can cancel but there is no refund because our websites states you have to cancel within 14 days on holiday weekend. Thank you to the lady who is a robot and couldn’t make a human decision to realize that camping with a tent on a cold, wet ground is not a fun experience. The fact that Skybrook only cared about getting their money and not the experience of camping is enough to not camp there. Why do campgrounds treat everyone like they are bad? She could have said you know I agree it’s cold and wet and you have a tent so please come back another time. Her answer was our website says no refund on holidays within 14 days. Great campground I visited family there had a great time .The kids had a fantastic time with it being Halloween weekend there.

We have been camping at Skybrook for over 15 years and have always had a great experience. My Mother-in-law has been a seasonal camper for decades and loves it there. While I agree that there are a lot of fellow campers that like to throw a few beverages back, I would have to disagree that there are no family friendly activities. The campground hosts a ton of different events geared towards younger kids. Anything from arts and crafts, bingo, to hayrides, ice cream socials, pool and playground, etc. We generally prefer sites Q&R and the campground allows us to put our small camper on their tent sites as these particular sites are the farthest away from all of the campground hot spots. This place sucks it's showers are freezing or burn you they rob ppl an over charge 4 times more $$$ to pop up a tent if I were you I pop a tent up at Stony Brook state park 15$ electric an water. Skybrook are thieves 60$ a night for 4 ppl to stay in a tent is SICK!!!!!!! AN EVERYTHING SUCKED.. nothing for the kids they clam there is an pool filthy an was closed I rather swim in a creek .....

Annoyingly loud, the map isn't legible so you can't choose a spot you like. I asked the lady on the phone for a perimeter spot and she put us dead center in the camp. People BLAST music past midnight and it's mostly a populous of drunks.
