Sky View Inn

Though we were expecting from the reviews that Sky View Inn would have a nice view, seeing the breath-taking beauty of the location in person was overwhelming. We were not prepared for the sheer beauty of the indescribably gorgeous view from every room at the lovely inn.||Darcy and Richard, the delightful owners, recommended the Retreat Cottage for us, as it has a magnificent private enclosed deck to easily accommodate our two dogs. It was roomy, private, and comfortable. We spent many an hour just sitting on the cantilevered patio absorbing the beyond spectacular views. There is even a baby grand piano in the cottage to add to the ambiance. The kitchen is on the smallish side so we decided to forget cooking and go to the pizza restaurant about a 3 minute walk away for dinner. It was SO

Darcy was great upon check-in!! A truly family owned business and you can tell she takes great pride in that! Very welcoming of my service which means a lot to me. The room was better than the pictures! I was in room 102 and the view was amazing from my window! Short drive to town and the best feature is there is a binder in the room that tells you everything you need to know. Well put together and very informative. I for sure will be staying here again.

The perfect snow filled weekend! From the outset Darcy took care of my family. We did sledding, snowman building, puzzles, and hot cocoa. The breakfast on the weekend by her husband was amazing! The view is a memory stamped in my mind forever! Memories made for sure! Thanks!

While the view here is beautiful, and the room was clean, the bed was terrible, and the Furnishings in much need of an update. The molding along the floor in the bathroom was water damaged corroded and warped. The television remote was not functioning. With a little bit of an investment this could be a wonderful place to stay.

Such a beautiful view! Waking up in the morning to the quiet and seeing the fog burn off was great. The rooms are well kept and cute. They don't have AC but with the window open at night and the provided fan its quite comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
