Lab is closed today though the conditions are the best we have seen in years. The excuse is because of snow making. Please tell me how many days have we all skied while snow making was occurring all over the mountain, additionally starting tomorrow the temperatures are rising, so snow making? I’m quite upset as I see this closer money motivated, Christmas vacation is coming this weekend along with the crowds. $$$$ This seems to be the way things have been going sense the closing of Tog. I’ve been a season pass holder at Lab, starting in 2008 when I moved into the area. My children were also season pass holders, they had there first lesson at lab in 2004. We were skiing Lab prior to becoming season pass holders. I don’t know about you, but why become a season pass holder if the mountain i

I bought a season pass after decades of not skiing. My memories had been so sweet of skiing at Labrador w friends. Wow has it been poorly managed!! I wanted to love it all again but between the complete mudhole for a parking lot, the lodge that is literally teaming w people because they closed 1/3 of the skiing locations around and the shortened hours every time you wish to ski...I must say....it would be hard to be more disappointed.

Just read about NY AG suing owner of Lab/Song for closing Togg. My kids and I were season pass holders at Togg for a few years. It wasn’t anything special but you could count on quick lift lines and well groomed trails. We got passes at Song last year once Togg was closed. It was terrible. Lodge was dirty. Lift lines were so long, except for the day they finally had their 2nd lift open, but then I got to spend 3 hours stuck on it. Never received an apology btw. Horrible experience. Refuse to go back. Spent one day at Greek and that was so much better of an experience.

It was overcrowded. I had lift lines up to 15 minutes. Most lifts were closed most of the time even when there was snow. It is very expensive and at the end of the season when we finally had good snow they alternated the weekends for Song and Lab. So much for 2 mountains one price. It is more pay double and get one lift. It was the first time in my life that I did not enjoy skiing. I will try this season one more time, but I already see how the prices went up and that there are only snowmakers on for one trail at lab, the webcam shows nothing on at Song.... So here we go again. I plan to take my family out of skiing next year.

With the improvements at Song and Lab in the last four years! Skicny had taken our local resorts by the horns and put them in the right direction! For the Tog haters, maybe your cheap tickets just kept the lifts running and everything else crumbling! I would be excited for what Peter can do to your beloved mountain! Just like what he has done for Lab and Song!
