Small mountain with more challenging runs than easy..my opinion. Wish they had a large standing map of the mountain with the runs to view, instead of a paper map. It's confusing when you reach the top, which runs are easy, difficult, etc. The runs aren't well posted. Did enjoy our time there, despite one chair lift running. The T-bar was a throw back to ride!!
Overall bad for families with kids. They first attempted to charge us an extra lift ticket. Did not provide rental poles with rental. Told us the beginner area was for lessons and it cost extra so we went down the "easy way". After getting stuck only a few hundred feet from the top at a steep downhill turn, ski patrol told us to walk down the mountain. There is no clear path to get to the beginning area either. Won't ever recommend this place to anyone. Basically nobody cares about the customers.
Grew up boarding here and always had a great time. Called this week to ask about opening day and some questions about the tubing park and couldn't have been treated more rudely by the lady who answered. She told me not to call if I had questions "just use the website." She said tubing park will not be opening this year so ill gladly take my family to an actual mountain where the customer is appreciated and not treated like an idiot for calling to check things before making an hour drive to a run down bunny slope of a hill. 👍
It was ok...the hills were super icy(not like they could have done anything) and the hills were very short. It was my first time going and I was expecting a lot more. If your good at skiing or snowboarding then this place is good for you. But if your a beginner then I would find a more friendlier place. It was also three hours from were we lived. And the place itself was a bit dumpy...no paved drive way or stones just mud...a lot of mud. The hills were also to short. Once you did get the hang of it the hills would abruptly end. In other words if you live up to three or four hours away it's not worth it. But if you live close they do have really cheap rentals.
It was definitely ominous renting a room here through AirBNB but 100% otherwise. It was clean, plenty of space, big common area. Now that I've stayed here once I would definitely do it again.
