Simon Lake Campsites

I wouldn't return. I had planned to spend 2 or 3 nights, but left after one. The place is quiet, which is nice, and the campsites are fine. There are only a handful of sites, maybe 5 or 6. A couple are sizable and the others small. There is a privy (it looked like an actual pit toilet, not a vault. I didn't check out the interior). I had two issues with the campground: first, the road in was in bad shape. After the end of the County-maintained section, the road seemed not to be maintained at all. Rivulets of run-off had carved deep ruts which you had to drive around and through for about 2 miles. It was v-e-r-y slow going, rough, and a bit stressful.
