Silver Lining Acres/Mercur Hill Orchards

When I was a small boy, my grandparents L. Ray and Lillian Dolan owned your place. In the late 70s my grandmother sold the farm to Doctor Manley and later sold the rest of the farm, all the way to the next ridge. Grandma moved to town. One of the best stories about your place, was when my grandmother caught men stealing hay from the barn, and what they did about it. Best Wishes. Frank

A peaceful and relaxing place in nature. I stayed for a week mid September in the newly built cabin on the left hand side of the property. The cabin has all the necessaries in the kitchen and bathroom along with a hot shower and plenty of towel, along with a comfy double bed with soft sheets, a sofa bed & recliner chair. It’s such a peaceful area surrounded by nature and wildlife. Waking up each morning to bird song and a beautiful sunrise with a coffee in hand was delightful. The hosts Jack and Mindy are very welcoming and make you feel right at home. I’m sure this has a lot to do with running a bed and breakfast for many years, but also their kind nature too.
