Silver Horseshoe Inn

THIS HOTEL IS AWESOME!!! The suites are huge and decorated very cool. The beds were extremely comfortable & the rooms were very clean. We played pool in the saloon...very fun place to stay. The owners are wonderful & very friendly. We will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!!!

What a pleasant surprise! The Silver Horseshoe Inn far exceeded our expectations. Tastefully remodeled with great furnishings and amenities, our room was what I’d call the best of both Airbnb and hotel worlds. Comfy queen bed and couch, fully-stocked kitchen, desk, space heater, amazing fridge, extra linens, plenty of toiletries. Bunk beds for kids (extra $15/pp). And did I mention the included breakfast (in the fridge & freezer)? The two of us could have made four meals from just that. The amenities really included anything one might need. The owner was very friendly and helpful, offering advice on local eateries, etc. Starting about Idaho Falls, lodging prices go up the closer you get to Yellowstone. We spent one night at the Silver Horseshoe Inn while traveling. We loved it. The service was welcoming, friendly, and fun. The place itself is impeccably clean, extremely thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in the suite, which was very comfortable, and felt like an historic place. This was the only time, of hundreds of hotel stays, that I have ever photographed a room as we were leaving. It is charming and special.

What a cozy spot to stay at. We stayed in one of the studios and it had pretty much everything we needed. Their restaurant isn’t open yet, so they hooked us up with all the breakfast stuff to make our own breakfast (nice touch with the little orange juices). The bed was super comfy, and we slept really well. If you're looking for a unique place to stay, go ahead and book a room here. The owner was really friendly and we had a great chat about hunting. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re passing through town.

This place was AMAZING!!! Beautiful historical building- rooms are decorated nicely! Very clean and comfortable. Our host was a HOOT! What a character! I wanted to know if anyone had any paranormal experiences there- because it just FEELS like lots of old energy. He didn't want to confirm or deny but did say several people have commented. I told him of my experience in room 7- children giggling and an older man standing at the foot of my bed clearing his throat like you would to get someone's attention. Nothing negative there- just awesome! The restaurant is being remodeled so they provide you with a toaster to make frozen eggo waffles and frozen breakfast sandwiches to cook in the microwave.
