Silver Cloud Hotel Tacoma at Point Ruston Waterfront

I really wanted to rate this higher because the Silver Cloud Hotel Tacoma at Point Ruston Waterfront is honestly beautiful. The location is amazing right on the water, with great views of Puget Sound. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, and the amenities are solid. Overall, the hotel itself feels upscale and well maintained. Most of the front desk staff were friendly and professional, and you can tell they work hard. Unfortunately, what brought this down to a 3-star review was repeatedly witnessing someone behind the desk named Trevor speaking very rudely to other front desk workers during our stay. It happened multiple times and was uncomfortable to watch. I especially didn’t like seeing female employees being talked down to. I don’t tolerate staff being harassed or disrespect

Taking my wife out for her birthday went even better than anticipated. The building is beautiful and their spa is so comfortable and relaxing! The jacuzzi room was clean and neatly put together. Everything is in walking distance and they treated my wife to some extra gifts for her birthday at the spa!

The staff was superb! Check in was fast, informative and professional, and met all of our preregistation requests.|They went out of their way to give us a beautiful room with an amazing waterfront view. The room was very spacious and immaculately clean. We were very impressed with silver cloud and will absolutely return! Thank you Bird!

WOW! What a great place to be. We were upgraded,since it was out first time! King suite with a view and a Jacuzzi! The restaurant was stunning and the menu was great. The duck was so delicious, and the gnocchi was so smooth!! The Jacuzzi was enough room for two, so definitely took advantage of that. The view of the sound was perfect! I grew up here, and going to the waterfront was always a big reminder of home!! It sure felt like it The valet, to the front reception, and the restaurant, we were treated like family (the ones you like)! Already planning our next stay

No room service. It's a great hotel with very friendly staff. Views can't beat, room is immaculate, bed is comfy. But if you plan to relax in your room... be ready to get dressed and leave to get your own meals. Huge disappointment, particularly for the price! 2 years ago I was told they were "working on solving it." Turns out they actually have no intention of offering room service. Ever. And instead were just placating me. Sad. I should have checked, but assumed they had it figured out by now. Would be a 5 star if they were at a minimum transparent about not offering room service. One more note: robes in the room are all just XL. If you are small, you'll swim in it, and if you are plus size, bring your own. Sadly no inclusive options.
