Silver Bay YMCA - Conference and Family Retreat Center

We spent five days and four nights at the resort in early September 2025. The hotel was very nice and we had a good view of the lake. Accommodations were clean and spacious. The bathroom was large with a great walk in shower. Meals were okay in the cafeteria. We typically had breakfast and dinner. One night they offered a pop up restaurant dinner for am extra charge with several menu options. Pricing for that meal was fair and the waitstaff was attentive. We did sightseeing in the area including Fort Ticonderoga, a visit to Revolution Rail peddle car, a visit to Natural Stone Bridge and Caves, a visit to Lake George Village and an after stay in Lake Placid.

I was there for an event in early October. The beach was closed, but the porch at the Inn offered a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The Y put on a haunted house, which was free and fun! There is better Internet than in years past, with free Wi-Fi. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with toiletries provided. There is no television so take the opportunity to read, relax, or just unplug. Parking is free but a bit inconvenient because it is not next to the lodging (for the most part). Meals were served buffet style, and they had GF and vegan options. Pets are only allowed in certain lodges. A very historic, lovely place to visit.

Was there with my husband for one night. The place is beautiful and clean, view on the lake is stunning. Good breakfast, lots of activities and staff makes you feel at home!

This Resort Property is an amazing location in Lake George, NY. There are a variety of locations to hold an event, you can stay for a night or longer, or simply use the property for the day! There are hundreds of acres to hike and explore across from their main campus, and you can even take your boat up to their dock. Their staff is phenomenal.

Great space, quaint cottages, lots of activities, kayaks, paddle boards, sailing, archery, pickle ball etc. something for every one and every taste. the scenery is amazing, many hikes are possible. many guests seem to be repeat customers, some are multigenerational, attesting to the charms of the place
