Customer Reviews
We had such a great experience at SAT! It was our first time checking out this ski area. I booked several lessons with the instructors here and all were great!!! Each has their own style and you get to sample and collect wisdom on the slope via their detailed instructions. They were also very good with kids. I have a 5 year old who came to the slope a bit behind me in terms of linking turns, but at the end of 3 private lessons, he was conquering almost easy blue types of terrain without fear or falling!! He got to brags to everyone he saw, that “I fell down less than my mom”! 🤣🤣 their restaurant staff were also very quick and well mannered and very family friendly. We have decided to pick SAT as our home base, and have committed to future ski practices on their slopes 🏔️ ⛷️ thank you SAT f
This is our second time visiting this ski resort, and my husband and I absolutely love it. It’s very well organized and has one of the longest beginner slopes, which makes it perfect for anyone learning to ski. The staff is incredibly attentive, always ready to help with whatever you need. We visited on December 30th and 31st and had fantastic snow conditions. We bought our lift tickets in advance on the website and arrived with all our gear, which I’d definitely recommend—especially during peak-season time slots.
Great ski place! Been years since I’ve been here but it has def improved! Got to watch my grand in snowboard d races! Sad to see side of mountain that fire destroyed. Gets a little windy without those 🌲 trees slowing it down! But well groomed and fun!
Staff was friendly everywhere we went, from the shop to the ticket booth and even at the lifts. Everyone was helpful and welcoming, which really sets the tone for the day. Our family had a blast. The kids took snowboard lessons and had a great experience. I spent time teaching my wife on the bunny slopes and Sugar & Spice, which were perfect for learning and building confidence. Snow conditions were packed powder in the morning and got a bit icy toward late afternoon, which is pretty typical. Overall, a fun, well-run mountain with a great family vibe. We’ll definitely be back.
Thank you to Sarah, Jake, and Debbie, plus Chelsea, plus Braden and Ethan at the restaurant. Also shout out to Hannah Teter and her boyfriend Jeb for the rookie tips. I’m not a skier but there was a lot to do at the resort. I even took a private lesson on the bunny hill. I’ll never be one of Tahoe’s many Olympians but I had a great time. Good food, great views. The media team was very professional and kind. There’s a reason people come from around the world - I saw the flags on the helmets - to ski at Sierra.
