Shore Motor Inn

In town for a funeral and needed a place to sleep since the other hotels near me was either $350 a night or all unavailable, so we stopped here, real bad mistake.The only thing worth a single star was the TV. The room was infested with roaches/ I mean they were everywhere. I tried to heat up my burger in the microwave (which barely worked and was sitting on top a leaning mini fridge), only to find a dead roach inside😩🤢. Ended up having chips and soda for dinner in my car. The bathroom was disgusting—dry urine all around the floor and toilet, and even poo on the seat. I attempted to take a quick shower, but the water was cold ,but strange enough it smelled like hot sewage, so a shower was out too. The walls had all kinds of unidentifiable stains and grime on them ,I'm scared to say what I

I had the pleasure of meeting Guy who is the owner of the Shore Motor Inn. He's a great owner who actually gets dirty and cleans and fixes the plumbing himself. He's very friendly and understanding. And Meka at the front desk is second to NONE, a real asset to any place she chooses to work. She's very knowledgeable and super friendly. I'd give them 10 stars if I could !!!

This is the worst hotel ever dirty scary area with lots of noise of violent actions by the people living temporary there. There was bugs all over the bathroom my daughter was so itchy i didnt sleep n i tried to get reamburts but the guy in the front said no deal with it. Towels were dirty thank goodness i brought my owm towels n soap cuz we had to wear sandals to shower. This was a nightmare notvsafe at all old nasty disgusting place with alote of traffic n not the 4 wheel traffic.

Seriously, go somewhere else. This motel isn't cheap ($129 weekday rate) and all you get is cheap. Guessing its family owned, they all talk and park in front of your room and talk amongst each other. Had the owner knocking on my door about smoke when I don't smoke in the room anyway (but the girl at the window said it's a smoking room and there's ash trays in the rooms?). Either way I don't smoke in the room but he "smelled it". Owner telling me to watch my kid with the blinds because they're cheap blinds (wow if you know you have cheap blinds how about not telling a paying customer that and get better ones) and also there were cops here for reasons unknown. Room was filthy. Had to throw out my socks, my sons socks and my husband's socks as they were BLACK. Might want to invest in a swiff

The worst place to stay at is this place the maids are rude and disrespectful and stole my neckless I had left there n told me nothing was left in my room. Then the cleaning lady some Spanish lady said we leave the rooms dirty isn't it the maids job to clean the room she said it isn't her job to cleanup after people lmfao then why are u a maid lady l. Then the owner himself is just a dushbag they have no respect and could care less about good customer service don't go here. If u want a nice place the sayville motor lodge is way better with everything stay away from the shore motor inn
