Ship Inn

My husband and I travel all the time for work. We come to Callahan every year and we always stay at the Ship Inn. It's home when we're in town. It's a quiet little place and we love it dearly. It's not overly luxurious like those big city hotels, but the shower is hot, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The Mrs who runs the office is so kind and the housekeeper always takes care of us.

Sheets were "thread-bare". Everything old and needs to be redone. NO HOT WATER. Manager very nice. Not anything else to chose from in the area. Cedar River Seafood restaurant down the street definitely over rated. Next time we'll stay in Folkston Ga.

First day here with my family & I'm honestly surprised. The size of the room, closet space, no weird smells, no bugs, pet friendly, Manager/staff friendly. Yea, will definitely stay another week if need be.

Very run down, just visiting a coworker. Definitely not somewhere to stay.

My uncle sadly passed away not even 3 days ago at this hotel. the room was already paid for the month and the people who work there threw all his belongings out on the street, knowing that my family has been going through the stuff and dealing with his belongings...best believe there will be a lawsuit against them if this isn't solved correctly.
