Shining Star RV Park

Rural and clean. Somewhat small but in great condition. Run by nice folks. In eastern Coryell county near The Grove, an old Texas ghost town. Not far from Fort Hood, Gatesville and Temple. Showers and laundry rooms kept clean and in working order. Typically windy so retract your awning before leaving your RV. Unpaved but mostly level. No clubhouse or pool. Free water and WiFi.

This is a GREAT park and I'll definitely stay again and again when I'm visiting customers in the Killeen/Waco area. I actually had problems with a couple of the hubs on my camper. The owner, Tom, and one of the folks staying there, Charles, went out of their way to help me. You DON'T see this type of neighborly help in this day in age. These gentlemen were a blessing. This is a great park, good people. This park deserves 10 stars in my opinion.

It’s the Best Rv park around. It’s perfect for an overnight stay or or long term. Everyone we’ve met so far has been amazing. Management is very helpful and easy going. The grounds and Bathrooms/Laundry Rooms are always stocked and very clean.

Could not have asked for a better extended stay here at Shining Star. The owners make sure the property is clean, well kept, safe and are consistently making improvements. It's a nice quiet location that's accommodating and relaxing with affordable pricing. Sherri is quick to reach out with any pertinent information and they resolve an issues that may arise quickly. Best RV park in the Fort Hood area.
