Great hidden gem campground!! Found this place on the iOverlander app and was not disappointed. Campground is self check in, $11 a night, first come first serve, maybe 40+ sites I think (don't quote me) just a lot of sites. Fire rings in each site, picnic tables in some. 1 bathroom and 2 big trash bins. No electric or water hookups. It's about a 20minute drive once you turn off Cascade Road (highway 71) onto Sheps Canyon Road. Once you turn onto Sheps Canyon Road you'll pass by Southern Hill's Diner and it's 6.8miles down to the resevior and campground. Maintained Dirt road all the way out, any car and camper/RV can make it. We were the only ones there last night and it was beautiful. Beautiful place and very quite! Onky giving 4 stars because there are a lot of goat heads at the campsites and on the beaches.
