Shell Lake Lodge, a Travelodge by Wyndham

We were here for 3 days to go snowmobiling in early 2026 and everything about our stay was great. Employees were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Huge hot tub for adults and pools for kids. And there were a variety of options for the free breakfast. Can’t beat the location as it was right on the snowmobile trail. And the price was right. Would highly recommend staying here.

Very nice hotel I would give them five stars plus. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and their beds are so nice and comfortable. We have never stayed in a hotel with Such comfortable beds very impressed. The pool room, hot tub and the children’s pool was very nice and a breakfast Was a nice breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. The staff was very, very kind ,pleasant and helpful.

I just want to give a great big shout out to Bill at Shell Lake Lodge! You were so accommodating and patient with us while we were deciding whether or not to come up to Shell Lake snowmobiling for the weekend. Thank you also to Michelle! So patient and kind! Our stay was wonderful!
