Shawnee State Park Campground

Our site was beautiful, though quite unlevel. We maxed out our BAL Leveler to get to level but we got there. The staff were friendly. I know I had seen online that the mini golf was free but it was 3 dollars per person. We didn't mind paying it since it supports the park but I figured others would like the heads up. Campground was never overly loud but was definitely very quiet on Sunday night. We also love how close the campground is to the main Shawnee Lodge. We do plan on camping here again.

Excellent place to take your family to get away from the day to day games if life. Camping, swimming, hiking, boating, even miniature golf. The camp sites are decent sized and give you a feeling of privacy, the shower houses and bathrooms are very clean, it's all in all a great place to get away and enjoy nature. And it isn't pricey, the camp sites are very affordable.

Plenty to do, spots are a bit small for larger campers. No phone service for miles except right up next to the campstore window by the wood box. Definitely pick your site carefully ours was very slanted. Staff is super friendly, laundry facility, parks, good fishing, bring bug repellent.

$2.50 a person for putt putt. Only a 9 hole course but u can do it twice. Boats are so much fun. Paddleboats are a lot of fun too. You can do a lot for cheap. Highly recommend for families

This is an excellent campground with helpful employees. Pam and Brittany helped me with a problem I was having making reservations because I had 2 accounts and only needed one account. They identified the cause of the problem and were able to get the issue resolved. Thanks Pam and Brittany!
