Shawnee Motel

This was the first time at the Shawnee Motel,and will not be the last.Everything about this place,from the location,super clean and cozy room,right down to the owners,and the help made my long awaited vacation everything I needed.No doubt my sister and I will come here again to chill,enjoy the peace and quiet,and the local restaurants.I cannot say enough about the Shawnee. And don't forget to spend some time hiking around the Shawnee State Park,located right up the road.That state park is a hidden gem.If you want a quiet location,with a spotless room,and nice people who care about your stay,this is the place for you.Thank you,Shawnee Motel!

I try to stay in vintage motels whenever I can. This was my first day at the Shawnee motel. I had stayed in two other motels nearby, but neither were available. Boy have I missed out over the years. This place is as meticulously maintained as it was when it opened in 1953. Even the shrubbery is original to the motel and still maintained impeccably. Super clean room super clean bathroom. Bring a hairdryer and you’ll have to walk just up the street to get your coffee in the morning. Good air conditioning good television, comfortable beds. You can’t ask for anything else. Bill is a super nice guy.

This place is FANTASTIC!!! When you step into one of these rooms, you step back into the 1970's, SO COOL! The owners are very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are EXTREMELY CLEAN! Everything you need for a quiet, safe, comfortable and affordable place to stay that's close to the park. We've stayed here twice now and already have a weekend booked in October. Definitely or go to place for a quick little get away❤️
