Shalimar Motel

I can't say much about the phsyical condition or quality of the motel as I canceled my booking due to other circumstances, but the customer service reps are amazing! A female individual (forgot her name) and Mike were very well spoken and helpful in confirming the cancelations of our reservations. I hope they get the recogniztion that they derserve!

Aaahhh the price is a little trip advisor what the advertising don't remember about Hurricane season is 06-11 in Miami. Florida. So the locals have a lot of expenses to gather before the snow birds allocate all the items . So back to school is around the corner as well. So we do have less to spend on expenditures. Thank you .

Should receive zero stars. Cancelled my reservation when I was two hours away (on a four hour drive). They say there was an issue with my credit card. They also lied and said they called me before canceling the room - I showed them my full call history to prove this was not the case. They never called me to discuss it at all. Then they tried to say they emailed me to warn me. Email history shows one message for the day of check-in, “reservation cancelled” They never messaged me to ask about any issue at all. That was also a lie. They simply wanted to give my room away so they cancelled my booking.

I booked a room a month in advance. Got a confirmation email at the time. Seemed like everything was good to go. Left from Orlando the day of the reservation, no new communication. Arrived at Shalimar several hours later - reservation could not be found. They said they called about a problem with my credit card. I had zero missed calls. They never tried. They said they emailed me about the issue. I checked my inbox and found one new email, stating my reservation may been canceled. They never tried to check set me about any issue. As room rates in the area had more than doubled because of the boat show, I’m sure there’s a bigger reason for canceling my room than an issue with my card that was never worth communicating with me about.

undercondition and should not be in bussiness. rooms were underconditions, water leaking everywhere. we booked for 1king bed 1 room and that room was 105, the bath room's sink were leaking and they knew it, it has a bucket and water still everywhere. we asked for different room and this time it was 2 bed 1 room and it was room 202 still water everywhere.
