Shady S RV Park

Nice & Quite park ! Monica and I parked the camper there for a month in-between travels. Enjoyed being at Shady S RV Park Grounds are clean and mowed , plenty of area to walk your dog ! Surround by nature , definitely worth a stop! Shawn the park owner is a really cool guy ! Thank you for having us !

I've been staying at Shady S for nearly 3 years while working in Louisiana and Texas. The owners are great people and very easy to get along with. The park is in a quite corner on the backside of town. It's very laid back and quite. Most campers are working people or fishermen. Every once in a while the working guys get together on a Saturday night and cook out but it's usually quite by 9:00pm. The only time I've ever seen anyone have issues with the owners is when they were stretching the rules or being inconsiderate of other campers. If you are looking for a no frills quite place to stay in the area I highly recommend Shady S RV Park.

I tried to change my original review.. After I stayed in the park for a while..A little over a year.. The owner (Shaun) was my main reason for moving out. He was trying to blame me and another few people on his sewage for messing up. I don't have any female issues and he was trying to say that Us ladies don't need to put tampons down the toilet. There was a few other issues as well. But I for one as well as another lady do not use tampons😂. I had a surgery and no longer have that mess. The other lady doesn't use tampons. Then he started blaming her for messing up the sewage. He not only did that but he took my nephews electrical cord and was beating the back of his RV. I saw it with my own eyes... When I first moved there they was nice. But he wanted to complain about everything in the wo

A very nice and quiet place to stay. I would rate this place 5 stars but, the negative thing is that the dryers don't dry your clothes fully Also there are 2 washers down out of the 4 and 1 dryer down out of 4. The owners are very nice down to earth people, the park manager is also a very nice woman. They keep the place mowed and it's safe little hidden paradise not far from the river.

Quiet place behind a subdivision. The park is pretty level. Rent is affordable! There are spots for both 30/50 amp, but this park is small and does fill up quick.
